Review: Rain Coat E-mail

Rain Coat is the story of a lost love. About lost hope and lost dreams ... Rain Coat is the story of Manoj (Mannu) and Neeru. They were each others first love, but it has not to be.

They grew up together in a village, Bhagalpur. They loved each other, but Neeru was off to a good party from Kolkata. Mannu has never held another ...

It is 6 years later, Mannu has lost his job and takes leave of his mother to visit the big city Kolkata. He hopes that, with a good friend to borrow their own business. He had to see her ... he picked her up. They talk to each other, but say nothing. They display a different world for themselves, for others the painful truth to save. As this rainy afternoon in the sad, dark house, explore both what the other for their hides. However, they stop the façade for each other, and when the afternoon ends, take leave of each other.

How heart breaking it is when Mannu Neeru later discovered that his true story is. And when it appears that both that afternoon to secretly share the same sacrifice have done ... Two people in a hopeless situation after all these years so sincerely love each other that they do not tell ...

A film about a lost love, instead of love. Rituparno Gosh, the reunion between loved each other long ago have lost very good filmed. The bulk of the film is a dialogue between Mannu and Neeru in a dark, airless room, with flashbacks to the past. The pain and love are felt. The beautiful music with poetic texts reinforces the atmosphere. It is why Rituparno Gosh for Ajay Devgan has chosen the role of Mannu, he was cut for. Aishwarya Rai has another show, which is surprisingly well fulfilled.

Rain Coat with few characters, few locations, no dance, soberly put down: "Less is more".
