Salaam Namaste is about Nick (Saif Ali Khan) a chief cook and Amber (Preity Zinta) a radio DJ at radio station Salaam Namaste. Both are young and independent and live in Melbourne.

After a meeting they feel attracted to each other, they decide to live together. Only they both have a separate room. After some time they will come to a separate room shared room. Now they really live together as friend and friend. Both of them enjoy their life and they do fun things together.
