LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Software giant Microsoft wants its next operating system, Windows 7, faster and more user-friendly than Windows Vista. The group offered software developers Tuesday during a conference in Los Angeles the first insight into the design of the new operating system. In Windows 7, including the taskbar changed. While Windows systems now in a series of bars in the taskbar appear when you open programs, Windows 7 will only be visible icons of applications. Microsoft wants the requirements for the hardware in line with those of Vista. Users often complained about Vista to hardware such as printers, which no longer worked. The first test version of 7 will ship early next year on the market, according to Microsoft. |
