Riddah the musical, a report E-mail
It is something Saturday, February 21 for eight in the evening, as we in the theater Glass recycling in Almere Muziekwijk arrive for "Riddah the Indian musical. We are warmly received by a host and woman in Indian clothing. IF our sites appear on the front row so we hurry to the actors on lap. Better not. The room flows gradually filled until we are half 9 full house and the show begins. The presentation is in the hands of Anoeska Boedhan. It tells us that the presentation of this nathak to mid-12 will last.
During the first scene we meet the parents of Riddah. Mother Tara Malhotra (Watie Ramadhin) believes it is time to Riddah (Manisha Gajadhar) to marriages, to the honor of the family secure. Father Rakesh Malhotra (Daisy Sansaar) sees the need not directly in. Riddah is only 20 years. Tara knows father However editing. Both father and mother Malhotra acting very funny and the laugher on their hands. Mother can also reach a huge volume of her voice. She does it over the piece again and again to its point clear and it comes through marrow and bone. This provides much giggling in the audience.

Riddah see the plans of her parents are not. It is different than her sister Nisha (Bindiya Mohabier Panday) that married nicely with Ammar (Yusuf Bekmez). Riddah is a modern Hindu girl and she has already found someone in the person of Segal Kamal (Kamal Raja). She sees the marriage candidate who her mother has in store for her, definitely not be. Mister India, Sameer (Sarfaraz Khan) is Riddah the prototype of a loser, they have not even seen on the streets would be. Together with its' Gori 'girlfriend Saskia (Vivian Dabrowski) think they plan to Sameer to be come.

Occasionally, we enjoy a bit of singing from the actors and is danced to Bollywood songs as "Sharara" in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai '. The actors dance itself but there are also dancers, the two young sisters Gowrising.

Halfway through the piece there is a break of half hour. There are nice big bara's available and the drinks are very cheap. However, the row waiting for the sweets so that the rather long break over flying.

Act two is again comical but also very dramatic. Riddah must choose between her lover and her family. Very sometimes, like a Bollywood film, a bit tedious. Just before the end The Punjabi Boys appear on stage. It is a spectacular action. If the show with a happy end is terminated and we applaud the actors, the writer Raja Isha and the team around, I can not say that I enjoyed. The piece is a must for young and old, and certainly for the Bollywood fans. The inexperienced players have an amazing achievement. If you get the chance to accept the document to see, you certainly do.
