Amitabh Bachchan Interview - September 25, 2004 E-mail
The legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan was in the context of Indian Cinema: Amitabh Bachchan "invited by the leading Tropen Theater in Amsterdam. On Saturday September 25 is the star interviewed by Prem Radhakishun.

The evening began with some known fragments of clips from films of the actor as "Mere angene mein 'Say shava shava" and "Kabhi Kabhi mere dil mein'. The public came more to the vote and was still excited by hearing the familiar songs. After this came Prem Radhakishun and Big B on the stage.

In the dialogue between the two gentlemen was the film career of The Big B and the Indian film industry discussed. According to Amitabh Bachchan, many people identify with the characters from the Indian film. Statistically, one in six of the people resident in India. Hindi movies are very popular among them and therefore have a large range. India has more different cultures, customs, dialects. This makes it difficult for an Indian film (in comparison to an American film) to which everyone can identify. The films are not only seen in India, outside India, there is market for Indian films. The language of The Big B in the films was also raised by Prem. In some films talk Amitabh Bachchan is not the usual "prestigious" Hindi, but Bhojpuri, a variant of Hindi that is spoken mainly in Uttar Pradesh. Amitabh Bachchan says that this is not because he comes from Uttar Pradesh, but the role that he should drop. It is obvious that the language is adapted to the role. The roles from the mid 70s and early 80s were rolling 'the angry young man "roles in which he fought corruption as laborers and criminals.

Amitabh Bachchan is that the image of 'the angry young man' that we have of him from that time, created by the media. The media put a picture out of a star. Thus, the media in his music, additional exposures of certain documents a different drop someone. He never had the intent to place that image. He acted creates only one character in the course of his profession.

Prem told the mega star that he was impressed by his dance skills, such as' Say shava shava. According to Prem, he dances better than his old movies. Prem asked him how it is. Mr. Bach Chan said that much energy. On instructions from the choreographer, he passes out. It is always fighting for it for each other and for the camera to show what you can.

Abhishek was also raised. The star said that he like the best for each parent has with his children. Abhishek needs on its own legs, and therefore has Amitabh Bachchan introduced him in the Indian film industry. After five years in the film world Abhishek has a successful film 'Dhoom'. He has success in 'Dhoom' entirely due to himself.

After the conversation between Prem Radhakishun and Amitabh Bachchan was the public the opportunity to ask questions. Few were the lucky ones to count. This part was a bit chaotic. People ran to the front. The giving started in all with a long introduction of the question, which I believe was unnecessary. After the audience had some questions for the chance to shake a hand and / or a signature to obtain.

Prem Radhakishun the evening led. He started a little nervous and was even a few times speechless by the replies of Amitabh Bachchan. The Big B was completely relaxed hand. He has a sense of humor, he is a stylish and charming Mr. He uses his charisma to entertain the public. He is nothing if not most popular entertainer of the century, according to a worldwide election held by the BBC. Without doubt he is still the 'king of the Indian Cinema' !!!!!
